 Water Test Project
19 March - 3 April, 2007

The water test project was initiated to explore the arsenic levels in the drinking water of several of our most suspect homes. Although, drinking water is boiled or filtered, this process does not remove arsenic.

Exposure to arsenic is not the only danger Cambodian children face today. Diseases associated with poor water quality attributes to 74% of all deaths in Cambodia.

Cambodia’s wetlands are continually being reduced, greatly impacting the availability of clean water throughout the country.  It is our sincere hope to ensure the availability of safe water for all our homes and their communities by furthering our efforts educating on the importance of water health and through the continuation of the water test project.

Fifteen orphan home/church were tested.  Three homes had small amounts of arsenic, however, none of the
 homes tested at dangerous levels.
