Urgent Prayer Request

February 17, 2006

Moam Sinary, the pastor’s wife, and Cheam Kim Ly, the cook at the Toul Serey church home in Kompong Speu were
headed to a village wedding on the morning of Wednesday, February 15th when a van hit their motorcycle from behind.
The accident killed Cheam Kim Ly. As a widow, caretaker to the orphans, and mother to her sixteen year old daughter,
this came as a great loss to the Toul Serey church orphan home. The pastor’s wife, Moam Sinary, survived the
accident and was taken to the hospital where she is projected to stay for the next month. The pastor will care for their
three young children, ages 8, 6, and 3, while his wife is recovering. The District Supervisor in the Kompong Speu province
went to minister to the family and children. The funeral was held Friday, February 17.
Please keep the Toul Serey church home in your prayers.
