Krey Vutha

Two months ago, Krey Vutha and her sister Krey Maq were rescued after being sold for $50.00.  The girls' mother also sold their younger sister, who at this time is still missing.  "Our mother and father used to fight a lot.  They were always mad because there was not enough money.  I was scared.  My dad left us and we had no food to eat any more.  One day my mother took us to this place where we had to work a lot. We never saw her or our little sister again." Krey Vutha is only 10 years old and Krey Maz is 8 years old.    Children sold into domestic work are more at risk of entering the sex industry.
