Flash flood devours Kampot, Cambodia

Just 24 hours ago the city of Kampot located south of Phnom Pehn in the Kampot Province, was devoured by water in a flash flood that spread through the province. Residents of the city are being evacuated by the local police. The water has reached a recently built Church/Orphan Home and has flooded the sanctuary with about 2ft of water.  There are not any children living in this home as it has yet to be dedicated.  The contracting team, pastors and medical specialist are currently helping to provide aid to the local community. Supplies for the construction of the home have been lost or damaged and the dedication is expected to be
delayed until further notice.
