Team Returns from the Palelai Orphan Home with Damage Assessment

The damage from the flood water was worse than previously predicted and the rain water continues to wash down from the surrounding community.
As soon as a land fill can be brought in, a new kitchen and fence will need to be constructed as well as a two foot addition to the pre-existing foundation.
The septic system has also contaminated the water from the well and caregivers now have to boil rain water for the kids to drink.
Children are beginning to show signs of sores from having to wade in the contaminated water.
