The night
before the final day of painting, a fire broke out in a small room just off of the sanctuary. A kerosene lamp was knocked over, causing a five gallon jug of gasoline to explode. Miraculously, Thon Kea, one of caretakers for the home, was able to remove the second container from her room before it too exploded and only sustained a severe burn to her right foot. |
